Ever have those days when you are doing life, going about your business, when suddenly you are interrupted? Your thoughts are interrupted. Your movement is interrupted. Your emotions are interrupted. Your plans are interrupted. The more this has happened to me, the more I have learned to pay attention. These little (some seemingly not so little) interruptions have become some of my best and most meaningful life lessons. And definitely worth sharing.
This blog is to share some of them with you. The lessons that I have learned and those I am right in the midst of grappling with, each will so deep and mysterious, that I’m still trying to sort through them myself and figure them out. They will be seriously RAW and not sugar coated. They will all come from my own life experiences, whether while I am playing with my grandkids, shopping for groceries, sitting in a church service, quietly sipping a latte, going for a walk, watching a movie, or just doing the mundane chores around the house, when life gets interrupted, you can bet I will be listening and ready to write it down.
I am a woman of God, daughter, wife, mother, Mimi, and friend. I have been collecting “life tools” for 52 years ….. working as a teacher, writer, speaker, marketer, coach, counselor, and more. Each job, each relationship, each event, each season of my life has equipped me, taught me, challenged me, and become a treasured gem in my life. Each one valuable and unique. Each one bringing a lesson to be learned from and built upon. I still have some empty slots in my tool belt!
So I invite you on this journey to learn as I learn, to grow as I grow, to build as I build, and to begin to pay attention to those LIFE INTERRUPTIONS!
